For a limited period, a free fax transmission facility is available. This allows you to send up to one fax message per day to any standard UK fax number (excludes mobile/premium rate numbers).

How to use:

After you log in, an option fax will be offered which can be selected by pressing F. Once you have chosen the option you will be prompted for the fax number for the recipient of the fax. This must include the full number with the STD code. You will then be prompted to type your fax text document, being up to 1000 characters. The text must finish with GA. When your fax has been delivered to the number requested you will receive an email from Texgate service advising of this. The system will continue to attempt to deliver your fax, but if these attempts fail then you will receive an email to this effect after a delay.

Please note the service is presently limited to one free fax per day. Once your allowance has been used for that day it is not possible to make any further faxes. This is not an accumulative allowance. If you try to send more than one fax a day, on your next attempt you are advised that your allowance has been used.
